Conservation of Material Culture Heritage
The Conservation of Material Culture Heritage program was launched in 2010. The unique program combines academic research with practical experience of conservation.
The increasing awareness in conservation of culture heritage in Israel and the growing demand for conservators raised the need for a unique academic program of this discipline.
The program is designed to train its graduates to deal with a wide range of topics included in the conservation discipline.
The program teaching staff consists of conservation experts from Israel and abroad, including: materials & technologies scientists and applied research, lecturers with expertise in conservation of culture heritage.
The program provides its graduates with encompassing knowledge in many aspects of conservation: cultural and humanistic background, archaeological conservation, preservation of historic monuments, conservation of artifacts and artwork.
